Teaching Assignments

All teachers bring a great set of skills and talents to the classroom, grade team and the school. You will be informed on Friday, August 29 of your child’s teacher and first day of school routines. Creating class lists is a complex process of balancing strengths, needs and resources across all grades. Requests for particular teachers will not be considered.

Grade 6 Farewell

Thursday marked a special milestone as we said farewell to our Grade 6 students during a beautiful certificate ceremony. For many, this will be the longest they stay in one school, making the transition especially meaningful. We heard lots of reminiscing of their time at Woodbine School that they’ll carry forward as fond memories. We hope to hear all about the new memories they will start to make in Junior High when they return for visits in the fall!

The following email was sent yesterday to families where a student is not connected to a parent MyCBE account:

Inform | Create your MyCBE account today!

Dear CBE Families,

Stay informed for the 2025-26 school year! We would like to ask that at least one parent / legal guardian for each student create a MyCBE account prior to the beginning of the upcoming school year.

A MyCBE account allows parents / legal guardians to:

  • View your child’s report card
  • Access your child’s program information (e.g., course assessments, daily attendance record)
  • Book School Conferences
  • Submit school forms (e.g., Demographic Verification, Annual Authorization, Citizenship Information Update, and/or Volunteer Registration)
  • Pay fees, apply for waivers or register for transportation

Note | For a visual guide on how to find the CBE ID within SchoolEngage, see: SchoolEngage - CBE Student ID Number

For any questions or if you require assistance, please contact the CBE Parent AccountHelp Line.

We wish you and your family a safe, restful and fun summer – we look forward to welcoming everyone back in September!

Sincerely,

Jeff Hutton, Acting Principal

Cheryl Rosenbaum, Assistant Principal
