First Day of Classes
Welcome back, students! Get ready to embark on an exciting journey as we kick off the first day of classes with enthusiasm and anticipation. Check out the fantastic resources and exciting information below to gear up for an unforgettable academic adventure!
Our first day of classes is September 2 and the school office is open August 27-29, 2025 from 09:00 AM - 04:00 PM.
Regular school office hours are: Mon-Thurs 8:30 AM - 4:15 PM, Fri - 8:30 AM - 1:15 PM. To ensure prompt service, it is best to avoid peak arrival/dismissal times - 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM and 3:00PM - 3:45 PM. During the school year, you can also contact our school by emailing woodbine@cbe.ab.ca Please note, this email will not be monitored over the summer break.
Kindergarten Staggered Entry
Our Kindergarten students will have staggered entry on September 2 OR September 3 - timings for staggered entry are detailed in the welcome letters sent to individual families. Essentially this means not all Kindergarten students will start school on the same day. Please refer to your family's individual letter for exact date/time of attendance for your child. Please reach out to the School Office if you have questions about Kindergarten staggered entry.
Regular Kindergarten classes will begin on September 4, 2025.
Assigned Teachers
Teaching staff will be sending out a communication to families at the end of day on August 29 to make introductions so that you are aware who your child's teacher will be and which entry/exit door your child will be asked to use for the 2025-26 school year.
