Save the Date! Meet the Teacher Night Thursday, September 24 | 5:00–8:00 p.m. We’re looking forward to welcoming families into the school for Meet the Teacher Night! Come by the classroom, meet your child’s teacher, connect with other families, and take a look at the space where your child spends their days learning and growing. Please be advised that this is an open house and not a one-on-one conference to discuss specific student needs. It’s a chance to see the classroom through your child’s eyes and get a little glimpse into their school day.
Demographic Verification Forms Compliance The deadline for families to complete Demographic Verification Forms passed on Monday, Sept 14. Currently, approximately 45% of students do not have a completed Demographic Verification Form for the 2026-27 school year. On Tuesday, Sept 15 an overdue reminder communication was sent to parents / legal guardians who have not completed Demographic Verification Forms for the 2026-27 school year. This communication will continue to be sent the beginning of each week, with the final overdue reminder being sent on Friday, Oct 30. Important | These forms are a legal requirement from Alberta Education and Childcare for funding purposes. If forms remain incomplete, it may result in a reduction in funding for the Calgary Board of Education.
📣 **Exciting Announcement for Grade 6 Students!** We’re thrilled to introduce a new **Grade 6 Leadership Group** starting on Tuesday, Sept 22! Peanut Aware This year, we have several students with severe peanut and tree-nut allergies. While we are a nut-aware school, we are not a nut-free facility. We kindly ask that you keep these allergies in mind when packing lunches and snacks and opt for nut-free items whenever possible to help keep our students safe.
Volunteering We welcome volunteers at our school! If you are a new volunteer - welcome! Our office staff is working diligently on processing new applications as quickly as possible, but we wanted to let you know school start up means this process may take a bit longer. Please click on the link below for more information on the process. |
