School Council:
Woodbine School Parent Association – Woodbine School Parent Association
AGM: Nov 20, 6:00 pm
We are excited to invite you to the Annual General Meeting of the Woodbine School - School Council and Parent Association on Thursday, November 20 at 6:00 pm at Woodbine School. This will be the first meeting of the year, and we would love to see many of you there!
At this meeting, we will hold elections for our executive positions. All positions are open for re-election, including: President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. These roles are vital in supporting our school community, and we encourage anyone interested to consider putting their name forward.
Here is a brief overview of each role:
- President – Provides leadership for the Association, chairs meetings, acts as the main spokesperson, and ensures smooth communication and coordination of all activities.
- Vice-President – Supports the President, steps in when the President is unavailable, and helps oversee communications and initiatives.
- Secretary – Records meeting minutes, manages correspondence, and maintains membership records.
- Treasurer – Manages the Association’s finances, keeps accurate records, and provides financial reports to the Board and membership.
Serving on the executive is a rewarding way to get involved, connect with other parents, and make a positive impact on the Woodbine School community. All executive members are expected to attend most monthly meetings.
We encourage everyone interested to attend, as this is the meeting at which we elect in our new board (all positions are open for re-election), and we are hopeful and excited to be welcoming new parent volunteers this year!
We hope you will join us for this important evening of connection, collaboration, and planning for the year ahead
