A heartfelt thank you to our parents for your incredible support for this year’s Opera. A special shout-out to our School Council and Parent Association for funding this residency through the casino—please be sure to sign up, as it helps make so many amazing opportunities like this possible for our students.
We are deeply grateful to our wonderful parent volunteers and committee members who created beautiful costumes, served as hall monitors, and supported the performances in countless ways. Special thanks as well to Katrina, our accompanist, who worked tirelessly with our students over the past three weeks. This event truly would not have been possible without you.
It takes a village, and we are so proud to have provided this meaningful opportunity for our students and such a special event for our school community.

Virtual Cyber Safety Presentation for Parents presented by School Council - May 5 6:30 pm
YouthLink came to present to our Grade 5 & 6 students at the beginning of March and Youth Link has offered a similar presentation on Cyber Safety but for how parents can support their kids. Presentation Topics/Info.

We’re excited to announce that our school will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair, which will take place from May 4-8 in the learning commons.

Registration Open for School Bus Orientation Program
The CBE offers a school bus orientation program for first-time riders and their parents, called My 1st Ride.
The session is free but families must register in advance. Spots are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration for 2026-27 transportation will be launched in May. Watch for more information on the school website.
Yearbook For Sale – Deadline June 19
You can now purchase your yearbook through Lifetouch. Follow the Yearbook Link and enter in Woodbine’s code, 889326. Yearbooks will be ready for pickup in the fall of the next school year.
