Closing Message from Mr. Hutton

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your support and partnership during my time as Acting Principal over the past three months. It has been a real pleasure to serve this wonderful school community and work alongside such dedicated families, staff, and students. Your trust and collaboration have made this experience truly enjoyable.

Thank you for everything you do to make Woodbine School a great place for learning and growth.

At the time of writing the new principal for Woodbine School has not been announced. I know you will join me in welcoming them to Woodbine School when the announcement is shared.

Warm regards,
Jeff Hutton
Acting Principal

Food Drive

We are writing to express our sincere gratitude for the tremendous response to our Reverse Advent Calendar Food Drive.

Your generosity in sending in food donations with your children has been truly exceptional and is deeply appreciated by both the school and, most importantly, the Food Bank that will be the recipient of these much-needed items.

Thank you once again for your remarkable community spirit, kindness and for your support in teaching the importance of giving and helping others. At the time of writing we have not shared the Den Group that collected the most food with students but are happy to share with you that the White Deer did collect the most food by about one box. The real winner though was the Food Bank.

Sweet Success  – Grade 6 Leadership Raises $349 for Our School!

We are thrilled to announce the incredible success of our recent "Guess How Many Candy Canes in the Jar" contest! Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of our students, we successfully raised $349 to benefit our school!

This fun event truly highlighted the giving spirit of our community. Thank you to everyone who participated!

And the Winner Is...

The exact number of candy canes in the jar was 95!

A huge congratulations goes to AJ, the ultimate winner, who made the correct guess of 95 and earned the grand prize: a festive gingerbread house!

We'd also like to give a special shout-out to our runners-up who also submitted the correct guess of 95: Gage, Jack, Jessica, and Henry.

Thank you once again for supporting this enjoyable fundraiser.
