Alberta Education Early Years Assessments

Students in Kindergarten to Grade 3 across Alberta will engage in a series of screening assessments between January 16 and February 6. These assessments are administered and scored by the teachers and used for progress monitoring. These assessments are not used for Report Card purposes but assist teachers and parents to identify the next steps in learning literacy and numeracy.  If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher.

Planning for the 2026-27 school year

To assist us with our preliminary planning and for the upcoming school year, "Intent to Return" forms have been sent home with all students. We kindly ask that families complete one form per student and return them to the school office no later than Friday, January 23. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated as it helps us ensure the best possible preparation for our school community.

Access to Online Report Cards

Kindergarten to Grade 9 report cards will be available starting Feb. 24, 2026.

After May 29, 2026 all Semester 1 reports cards will no longer be available for viewing, downloading and/or printing.

Parents and Guardians can sign in to MyCBE to view student information, including report cards, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information. For the best access to information, log in through the MyCBE  portal instead of using the PowerSchool App.
