Staffing Updates

As the school year approaches the final stretch we would like to share the following staffing updates with you.

After an amazing teaching career, including 23 years at Woodbine School, Mrs. Evans-Scully is retiring at the end of the year. We know you will join us in wishing her well in all the adventures ahead and in thanking her on behalf of the hundreds and hundreds of students she has taught.

We are pleased to welcome Ms. Sarah Smid, as our incoming CSSI teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. She comes with a wealth of experience across CBE and in specialized settings. We look forward to having her as part of our Woodbine team!

Also joining our CSSI team is Ms. Anna and Ms. Kim. Both Ms. Anna and Ms. Kim have been part of our support staff this year and we are thrilled that they will be full time staff with our incoming CSSI classroom.

Lastly, for the 2025-2026 school year, Ms. Rachel will be taking some time to pursue higher education. We wish her well on her next adventure!

Upcoming School Spirit Days

Posters are displayed around the school with more details and reminders about these fun-filled days. Everyone is welcome to participate and show their school spirit, but please remember that participation is completely optional.

2025-2026 Transportation Registration Now Open

The 2025-2026 Transportation registration is now open.  To register, sign into your MyCBE account – Student Fees – scroll down to Transportation – Complete registration form.  Please note, registrations received during the summer will result in a 6-week delay and parents will be responsible for their child's transportation to and from school.

Eligibility:   If you live outside of the walk zone, your child will be eligible for yellow school bus transportation.  If you live inside the walk zone, your child is not eligible for transportation.
