Volunteer Tea
This is a chance for us to personally thank all our families who have volunteered their time, energy, and heart to our school community. To show our appreciation, we invite all parent and community volunteers to join us for a special Volunteer Tea as a small thank you for the big difference you make. Please come and enjoy some light refreshments and snacks, good company, and heartfelt gratitude from our staff and students. We look forward to celebrating you.
We are pleased to invite you to our Volunteer Appreciation Tea on Friday, May 23, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM to say thank you for your invaluable contribution to our school community.
Please RSVP here by May 15 so we can plan accordingly.
2024-25 Yearbook
The production of the 2024-2025 school yearbook is currently underway, and we are in the final stages of page compilation.
We wish to bring to your attention a crucial matter regarding your child's photograph in the yearbook. Based on the selections made in your Annual Authorizations 2024-25 within SchoolEngage, if you indicated "NO" to both "CBE Use" and "By News Media and Outside Groups (Third Party)," your student's photo will not be included in the yearbook.
Should you wish for your child's photo to appear in the yearbook, you will need to update your consent in SchoolEngage to "YES" for both of the following authorizations:
· CBE Use
· By News Media and Outside Groups (Third Party)
The deadline to make these changes is a firm May 16. After this date, we will be unable to accommodate further consent updates as the yearbook will proceed to production.
Please log in to your SchoolEngage account by May 16 to review and update your Annual Authorizations if necessary.
Gr 6 – Outdoor School
Thank you for your patience as we finalized the outstanding balance for Outdoor School with Kamp Kiwanis.
We wish to inform you that the remaining fee of $194 is now visible and ready for payment through your MyCBE account. Please note that the payment due date is May 16.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Gr 6 – Farewell Assembly – Save the Date!
Our Grade 6 Farewell Assembly will be held on June 25, 1:30-2:30 pm. Siblings in other grades are welcome to attend the assembly with their family. After the assembly (2:30-3:00 pm), our grade 6 families have been invited to stay and mingle (with their Grade 6 student), take photos and enjoy a variety of treats together. Please call in to the office to sign out your student if you plan on leaving prior to the dismissal bell at 3:40 pm.
The students voted on this year's theme being "Chess" (black and white attire), your student is more than welcome to participate in the black and white theme too!
Please feel free to connect with Ms Kazi-Tani (ffkazitani@cbe.ab.ca) should you have any questions at all!
