School Update:

Swim Program: We are excited to announce that our school swimming lessons are approaching, and we need your help to make them a success! Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and organization of our students during these sessions.

We are reaching out to all volunteers who already have a valid police clearance (males are always needed). Your support is invaluable in assisting students in the dressing rooms only. Volunteers will not be required to help in the pool.

If you are available and willing to help, please sign up using the link below:

Cultural Night 2025 Save the date: Jan 9 2025

We are excited to share that some of our Grade 6 Leadership students are organizing a Cultural Bake Sale Booth at Woodbine’s Cultural Night on January 9, 2025 6:00-7:30! This event will celebrate the diverse cultures of our school community and raise funds for a charity of our choice.

Here’s how you can help:

We are hosting a “Taste of the World” booth where we’ll be offering baked goods from various cultures, and we need your support! We’re asking families to donate baked items that represent their culture or country. Each item should be labeled with the name of the culture or country it represents, along with an ingredient list for safety and dropped off the afternoon of the January 9,

To make it easy, a sign-up link is below where they can sign up to contribute. All the proceeds from the bake sale will go to a charity chosen by the students of Woodbine School.

We hope this event fosters community spirit and allows our students to experience the richness of the world’s cultures through food.
