School Update:
Join Us for Woodbine School’s Cultural Night! We are thrilled the community to Woodbine School’s Cultural Night on Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM! This exciting evening will celebrate the rich diversity within our school community, bringing together families to share and learn about cultures from around the world.
As part of the celebration, our Grade 6 Leadership students are hosting a Cultural Bake Sale Booth to raise funds for a charity chosen by our students (ex. School playground, Children’s Hospital, etc). Families are encouraged to support the “Taste of the World” booth by donating baked goods that represent their cultural heritage. Sign up to contribute here! Please label your items with the culture or country they represent and include an ingredient list for safety. Donations can be dropped off on the afternoon of January 9.
Thank you for your support in making Cultural Night a true celebration of learning, community, and inclusivity. We can’t wait to see you there!
Swim Program: We are excited to announce that our school swimming lessons are approaching, and we need your help to make them a success! Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and organization of our students during these sessions.
We are reaching out to all volunteers who already have a valid police clearance (males are always needed). Your support is invaluable in assisting students in the dressing rooms only. Volunteers will not be required to help in the pool.

Swimming Ability form and Consent and Acknowledgement or Risk forms are now overdue – please return them to your child’s teacher ASAP. Fees are due prior to the event taking place:
Kindergarten: $31.30
Gr 1-6: $31.61
MyCBE and Fee Payments: Please check your MyCBE accounts on a regular basis. Field trips and in-school activities are added regularly and this will allow you to stay current with your child’s fees.
Please ensure you have registered for Lunch Supervision and Bus Transportation if applicable. Registration for both services is done via your MyCBE account.
Healthy Hunger – Fun Lunch: Please remember that no food should be ordered from Skip the Dishes, Door Dash etc, or any other restaurant on that day, for distribution to our students – let’s make these events special by enjoying the food available from Healthy Hunger and place your order before midnight 5 days prior to the fun lunch date. www.healthyhunger.ca
