School Update:

After School/Transportation Absence Notifications: If your child is absent or signed out early, please let your childcare provider know – often the daycare is not aware and they are waiting outside looking for students.   Similarly, if your child usually rides the yellow school bus home, and you are picking them up, please let the office staff know so that we can update our bus attendance list.

Reminder: Kindergarten Registration 2024-25: Kindergarten registration opened January 15.  Registration is ongoing, however we encourage you to submit your registration now so that we can plan for the next school year.

New Student Registration

Before and After School Care: Woodbine School is delighted to unveil our collaboration with 1st Class Child Care. Commencing from the 2024-2025 school year, 1st Class Child Care will be offering onsite care services for our Grade 1-6 students.

Registration commences on February 5, 2024. With 80 available spots for care, prompt registration is encouraged. In addition, Woodbine School and 1st Class Childcare recognize the pivotal role child care plays for many families during the Kindergarten year. We are steadfast in our commitment to providing a viable solution for families in need of child care support during the 2024-2025 school year.

The provision of Kindergarten care for the upcoming school year will operate in one of two potential modes, contingent upon enrollment figures.

Initially, based on the volume of registration requests received and the available space within the school premises, there will be a limited capacity for Kindergarten Care within a designated room on-site, during regular school hours.

However, in the event of higher demand surpassing the capacity of the school's facilities, an alternate arrangement will be implemented. We will facilitate transportation via our dedicated bus service to our Shawnessy location for Kindergarten care during school hours. Despite the relocation, families can still benefit from the convenience of drop-off and pick-up at the school premises.

Throughout the day, while children are not in their Kindergarten classroom, 1st Class Childcare will diligently oversee all aspects of child care and transportation requirements, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for families.
