School Update:
Important Note: On Monday, we will celebrate "School Spirit" day with "Crocs and Socks." Students and staff are encouraged to show their school spirit by wearing crazy socks and Crocs! Additionally, on Thursday, June 27, school will end at 12:50 PM, so please note that it will not be a full day. We will hold a farewell assembly to say goodbye to some of our staff and students. Parents are welcome to join us; however please note that the assembly will be informal, featuring a short inspirational video, a photo display, and some dancing.
Volunteers Needed – Sports Day: we are in need of volunteers to make our Sports Day a success – this is scheduled for the afternoon of Tuesday, June 25 – if you have a valid CBE volunteer police clearance and can spare some time please contact Ms Magee as soon as possible on: damagee@cbe.ab.ca
Medications held at the school office: Any medication we hold at the school office will be sent home with your child on Thursday, June 27. If you prefer to collect the medication yourself, please call the School Office to let us know as soon as possible.
Lost & Found: our Lost and Found table will be cleaned out and donated at dismissal on Thursday, June 27 – please come and take a look if you are missing any items.
Online Report Card: Online report cards will be enabled for viewing from June 26, 2024 - July 26, 2024 (8 am). During this window, legal guardians / independent students are welcome to view K-12 report cards online. Please save or print a copy of your child’s report card prior to July 26, 2024 (8 am).
Central Fee Waiver the deadline to apply for a central fee waiver is June 30, 2024. Please click on the above link for information on eligibility and how to apply. If you have already applied for a Central Fee Waiver for this school year and your application is pending, as there is further information you need to submit, the deadline for you to do this is June 30, 2024.
Central Fee Waivers are applicable only for the current school year. Should your family with to apply for a waiver for the 2024-25 school year you will need to submit a new application in the fall.
Outstanding School Fees: deadline June 30, 2024: a friendly reminder to pay your outstanding school fees by June 30, 2024.
Have you moved: If your family has changed address during the school year or, you are planning to move over the summer break, please ensure you have informed the school office so that we can ensure a smooth transition of student records to your child’s new school.
