School Update:

Parent/Teacher Conferences: In-person conferences will be held on 23-24 November.  Conferences open for booking at 6:00 am on November 9 and close at midnight on November 22.  Please log in to your MyCBE account to book a spot with your child’s teacher.  

 

November 23 is a regular day for all students.  There is no school for students on November 24.

 

Cell Phones: We ask that students ensure that if they bring a cell phone, they silence it during the day. We do not use cell phones in class and at recess students interact with each other technology-free. Students can request to call from phones in the classroom or at the front office

 

Nut Aware: When packing lunches please be cautious not to include any items that contain nuts. (ie. peanut butter, Nutella, granola bars with almonds or peanuts). If you are looking for lunch ideas check out these ideas.

 

Lost and Found: Lost and Found is located by the school gym and music room. Please remind your child to check for any missing items. Parents will have a chance to look through as well during Parent-Teacher Interviews. Afterwards, all items will be donated to charity.

Dress for the weather: The weather is changing and students need to bring warm winter clothing to wear – we will be going outside for recess and 20 minutes at lunch – rain, snow or shine!  We have many students looking for spare gloves, mitts and jackets which we supply on a daily basis – however we do not have an endless supply.  Thank for ensuring your child is prepared.
