School Update:
2025-26 School Year: Planning for the 2025-26 school year is underway – please let us know if your child is returning to us for September 2025 or, if not, which school they will be attending in September. Forms are coming home – please look out for them and return to the School Office by Feb 12. Thank you.
Swim Program: We are excited to announce that our next group of swimming lessons begin on Monday Jan 20 - we need your help to make them a success! Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and organization of our students during these sessions.
We are reaching out to all volunteers who already have a valid police clearance (males are always needed). Your support is invaluable in assisting students in the dressing rooms only. Volunteers will not be required to help in the pool.

Swimming Ability form and Consent and Acknowledgement or Risk forms are now overdue – please return them to your child’s teacher ASAP. Fees are due prior to the event taking place:

Online K-12 Report Cards Available Jan 27, 2025: Families can view, download or print online report cards for Kindergarten to Grade 12 students on Jan 27 – May 30, 2025 through MyCBE.

Registration 2025-26: registration for the 2025-26 school year opened on Monday, January 13.
Parents can find information on Kindergarten registration on the public CBE website.
If you are returning to Woodbine School in the fall you do not need to register again. If your Grade 6 student is moving to John Ware School in the fall they will automatically be designed to that school for Grade 7.
John Ware Jr. High Open House: On January 30 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, we will host an Open House for incoming Grade 6 students and families. This event will showcase:
- Arts: Option programs and extracurricular activities
- Academics: Engaging learning experiences led by dedicated teachers
- Athletics: Sports teams and development opportunities

Woodman Jr. High Open House: On February 6, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, we will host an Open House Event as we showcase why our school is “A Great Place to Learn – Une belle place pour apprendre.”
