School Update:

Spirit Days: Our newly formed grade 6 student council would like to share some exciting Spirit Day opportunities - remember participation is always optional!

  • Dec 20 - Decorate the Halls - Snowflake Day - All classes will make snowflakes this day which will be hung in the hallways.
  • Dec 21 & 22 – Ugly Winter Sweater Day! (If you don't have a Christmas/holiday sweater, you can wear red, green or something glittery!)

Fieldtrip Absences: A friendly reminder to check your MyCBE account regularly for field trip fees – we pay the cost of field trips in advance and the cost is based on all students attending.   If your child is absent on the day of the event, and you signed and returned the consent form, the fee will not be removed from your account.  If your child will not be attending the field trip, due to vacation/medical appointment etc, and you have not signed the consent form, the fee will be removed from your account.

Winter Solstice Evening – Dec 21: We are excited that our Winter Solstice Evening will soon be upon us and we invite all families to attend the celebration and bake sale!  Full details can be found here:  Winter Solstice Evening . CONGRATULATIONS to our casino volunteers who won special seating and parking at the Winter Solstice Evening.
