School Update:

 

Internet Outage: You would have received an email from the CBE stating that many schools have been impacted by an Internet Outage. Woodbine is one of those schools. Please be patient with us while we work on a solution.

 

 

Meet the Teacher Grade 1-6: On September 21 and 22 we will be have our Meet the Teacher Event. On Thursday September 21, come visit your child’s teacher, classroom, parent council booths, apparel booths, and food trucks at your own pace.

 

The Open House will be held between 5:00-8:00 pm. On Friday September 22, we will host traditional interviews. This round of interviews are by teacher/parent request. You will receive an email from your child’s teacher by Friday September 15, inviting you for an interview. If you would like to request an interview you can schedule an appointment via your MyCBE account. Please note, spaces are limited:

 

Opens Wednesday September 13 at 6:00 am

Closes Wednesday September 20 at midnight.

 

How to book a Parent-Teacher Conference

The booking system can be accessed via your MyCBE account.  Please note that Parent/Teacher Interviews will be held by teacher and parent request. Keep an eye out for an email from your child’s teacher.

Kindergarten Meet the Teacher: On September 21 and 22 we will have traditional interviews, where you will book a time slot and come to the school to meet Mrs. Broeke. To schedule an appointment please do so via your MyCBE account.

Picture Day: Picture Day is scheduled for October 10 and Retake Day is November 6. You don’t want to miss this chance for the first photograph of the school year! We cannot accommodate any special requests for specific times for your child to have their photo taken – students will be called down to the gym, class by class, at a time that accommodates teacher schedules.

 

Welcome Back Checklist: An important email was sent home on September 6 with information for school start up – please check your email as the deadline for form completion is September 18, 2023.

 

Teaching Staff: Please see Our Staff page on our school website for details of all our teaching staff and how to reach them by e-mail.

 

Procedure for reporting absences: Please notify the office either by phone (403-777-8630 Ext 0) or email (woodbine@cbe.ab.ca) if your child is going to be away. Please provide the name of your child and their teacher when reporting an absence.
