  • Dec 20 - Decorate the Halls - Snowflake Day - All classes will make snowflakes this day which will be hung in the hallways.
  • Dec 21 - Christmas Sweater Day! (If you don't have a Christmas/holiday sweater, you can wear red, green or something glittery!)

YouthLink field trip – Gr 5/6: Our Grade 5/6 classes attended a field trip to YouthLink at the end of November.  We have many outstanding fees awaiting payment – please take a moment to log in to your MyCBE account and pay the fee as soon as possible.

2024-2025 Kindergarten Registration: Kindergarten registration for the 2024-25 school year will begin on January 15, 2024. Please review the information on our Registration page to register for Kindergarten and follow the instructions.  Children must be at least five years old as of December 31 to start Kindergarten in the fall of that calendar year.  This means that a four year old child may start Kindergarten if they will turn five on or before December 31 of that calendar year.

Winter Solstice Evening: Families are invited to attend our Winter Solstice Celebration and Bake Sale on Thursday, December 21.  In order to accommodate all of our families over the course of the evening, we will be having short grade team performances only in the gym.

Please ensure that your child is at their designated classroom by their “call time” (get back stage) so they do not miss their performance.  Once students arrive, they should go straight to their classrooms, and parents should go directly to secure a place in the line-up outside the gym.

Click this link for the invitation and full details of times:  Invitation and TimesInvitation and Times

Performance times will be posted inside the school.  Following each grade performance, we will ask all families to exit the gym so that the next group of families can come in.

Families are welcome to enjoy the Bake Sale after their child’s performance.  Students are welcome to leave after their performance.
