Welcome back to another wonderful school year! It’s been so nice to see both familiar faces and new ones as we settle into our school community. I’m thrilled to share that our annual Terry Fox Run was a huge success. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the volunteers who helped make this important event possible. Together, we continue to honor Terry’s legacy and contribute to cancer research.

Our teachers have been busy these past weeks getting to know your children, collecting baseline data to better understand each student’s needs and strengths. This valuable information will guide their teaching and ensure students are supported throughout the year.

In the classroom and beyond, it's been amazing to see the energy and joy from our students. Whether they’re learning to play rugby, exploring the world of ladybugs and landforms, or committing to meaningful action in support of Truth and Reconciliation, our students have been smiling, growing, and learning every day. It’s a special privilege to see them embrace learning in ways that connect with our curriculum and our values, especially in honoring our Indigenous friends and communities.

As we enter October, we have even more exciting and engaging learning tasks ahead of us. Thank you for your ongoing support, and I look forward to a great year of discovery and growth!
