Dear Woodbine Community,

I’m very excited to be joining Woodbine as your new principal starting on January 12, 2026. I have heard fantastic things about the students, staff, and parental community. I am looking forward to meeting everyone and embarking on our new journey together. I plan to come during the first week of school to spend time meeting the staff and students.

Until recently I have been the assistant principal at Griffith Woods, a school I helped open and have been at since 2018.

Through my 20-year career I have worked in several schools, spanning from K-9, and have a solid understanding of the continuum of learning with that age group, which makes this an exciting match.

Creating a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and families is at the heart of who I am as a leader. I believe this comes from developing positive and trusting relationships. This is a shared responsibility that will ensure that all students can continue to thrive and succeed as learners. I have a Masters in curriculum and task design, so I am excited to work with staff to examine possibilities in learning experiences for the students at Woodbine.

I have three children, and I love all sports, but have a special love for basketball, which I coach both at school and in the community. I am also soon to be a two-dog household, so needless to say I am busy with lots of activities on my weekends!!!

I look forward to meeting all of you and being a part of the special community of Woodbine.

Sincerely,

Ryan Molyneux
