Principal Update:

I am excited to join the Woodbine School community as Acting Principal during this period of transition. My previous experiences include System Principal for Area 2, Acting Area Director for Area 6 and principal of New Brighton School and Bridlewood School.  I look forward to working with parents, staff and students to ensure a successful conclusion of the 2024-2025 school year and helping prepare the school for the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year and a new, permanent principal for Woodbine School.

Scholastic Book Fair is coming – Apr 14-17:

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way!  Save the dates!  The book fair will take place in our Learning Commons.  Students will be able to purchase books through the day.  All purchases benefit our school and earn Scholastic Dollars that can be redeemed for books and educational resources for our classrooms and school library.

With labour action by CUPE Local 40 members limiting access to CBE schools after hours – we will let you know closer to the time if we are able to offer any evening opening times for parents to purchase.

School Planning Survey:

At Woodbine School, we hold the firm belief that families are pivotal to the academic success of children. We are asking that you participate in a short survey that opens February 18, 2025 - 03:00 PM and closes on March 28, 2025 - 11:59 PM. The purpose of this survey is to gather feedback from families on school planning, which includes the school development plan, school budget, and school fees. When students, staff and families work closely together, students experience greater success.
