School Update:
Attendance: Did you know that even small gaps in school attendance can have a significant impact on student learning? While Fridays are half days at our school (8:58 AM - 12:50 PM), they remain essential for students' academic success. During this time, students are actively engaged in meaningful learning activities that contribute to their progress.
Research shows that consistent attendance is a key factor in student achievement. According to a study by Attendance Works, missing just two days of school per month—even for valid reasons—can result in students falling behind academically. This adds up quickly, creating gaps in knowledge and skills that can be challenging to bridge later on.
At our school, Fridays are designed to provide focused, high-impact learning opportunities. Whether it’s reviewing key concepts, engaging in collaborative projects, or building critical skills, every moment counts toward your child’s education.
We encourage you to prioritize attendance on Fridays to ensure your child has the best opportunity to succeed.
Parent/Teacher Conferences: Our Conference Booking system opened at 6:00 am on Thursday, November 21 – please book an appointment via your MyCBE account prior to the system closing for bookings at midnight on November 27, 2024. We look forward to meeting you at Parent/Teacher Conferences as follows:

Woodbine School Book Drive: We’re excited to announce our upcoming Book Drive at Woodbine School! This is a wonderful opportunity to support literacy and community building.
We will be collecting gently used or new books suitable for students of all ages from November 25-27. Your donations will help inspire a love of reading in our children and enrich their learning experience. Thank you for your generosity and support!
